Aquarium Guide

Note, 12/10/2013: TransitPeople is closing up shop! Please see the news page for more information.

This second TransitPeople guide is intended to accompany our visits to the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach. Teachers and kids love this destination, and have requested frequent trips there. This guide gives us something to share with the children during the Blue Line ride to and from the aquarium stop at First and Pine. If it piques their interest, they may want to take it home and read it by themselves later. That's the idea!

If you're chaperoning kids to the aquarium, please also check out the aquarium's terrific collection of online materials, which you can view and download in their comprehensive education section. And always pick up an aquarium Passport booklet when you visit. They're free at the aquarium's front desk!

This printer-ready guide requires that you have the free Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. You can download Acrobat Reader here.

If you already have Acrobat Reader, but cannot open the TransitPeople lesson, you probably have an older version of Reader. Our lesson requires Acrobat Reader version 3 or above. To see what version of Acrobat Reader you have, go to the "help" menu in Reader and select "About Adobe Acrobat."

Please don't contact TransitPeople about problems related to the download or printing of this file! We are all volunteers, and do not have staff available to assist you.
