The list below matches field trip destinations with the popular -- and for Los Angeles Unified schools, popular is putting it mildly -- Open Court Reading© series. Some destinations are an obvious fit, and are listed in boldface. Others may be a bit of a stretch.
Please note: The listing of a destination for kindergarten doesn't mean that your kindergartners will be ready for a trip of this type. If you have concerns, please share them when sending in your request. Not all destinations can be visited comfortably by all schools. The Whittier Museum, for instance, is an easy trip for Winter Gardens, a comfortable trip for most East L.A. schools, and a looong trek for groups from South L.A.
